About Us
Since 2002, our family-run business has been connecting travellers to Comino with daily ferry services from both Mġarr (Gozo) and Ċirkewwa (Malta). In addition to our regular ferries, we offer private boat charters for those seeking a more personal way to explore the scenic coastline of Comino or Gozo. Prefer to explore at your own pace? You can also rent a self-drive boat – no licence required – and enjoy a relaxing trip around Comino on your own terms.

We wanted to travel from Gozo to Comino, so I looked at the available operators on Google Maps and read through the reviews.
The reviews for Ebsons vary wildly – they’re either very good or very bad. All in all, I decided to go with Ebsons in the end and I don’t regret it.
The evening before, I booked the tickets for the Gozo -> Comino -> Gozo trip on the website. The site also advises you to register in advance to enter the Blue Lagoon, as you’re not allowed onto the island otherwise.
On the day of our booking, we went to the harbour in the morning and the Ebsons stand was easy to spot. We received our ticket via our booking email (important for the return journey) and were also informed of the return times. After that, you have to collect your wristbands to enter the island from staff at the tourism office (across the road). You receive these upon showing your Blue Lagoon registration emails. Note: you can book more than one time slot for a single day.
The crossing to Comino was very relaxed in good weather. After a long day, we arrived at the jetty on time for collection. There are several queues there, which the marshals direct into the correct line. The queues are organised by ticket colour.
The return journey was just as relaxed, so we were very satisfied with Ebsons in the end.

Ooh, the excitement! From the delightfully bouncy and splashy trips to and from Comino to the good price, easy to use website, and the then near-punchup on the dock between passengers incapable on understanding the COLOUR CODED return ticket system, loved it all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a private charter with Ebsons for our family of 6, including 2 toddlers. Definitely the best experience. Our skipper - Jerome was brilliant and very informative. He looked after us very well :))) The trip was priced reasonably and worth every penny.

Great experience!
After we unfortunately missed our originally booked crossing to Comino due to a fruitless search for parking, we were able to board the next boat.

We got what we were promised - a tour of the caves and a trip to Comino.
We got a discount on the price as it was the last departure of the day and we therefore only had an hour on Comino. It adds up!

Great experience, we were able to book online easily. To go back, we were alone on the boat for the caves tour, that was an amazing “private” trip!
Some reviews mentioned confusing return times. To go back from Comino, they give you times according to the ticket you purchased - whether you are returning to Malta or Gozo, doing or not the caves tour. Just need to use that for reference, rather than the flyer

Booked the day before online, in my opinion the most straightforward website to book the trip to Comino from.
We departed on time and the travel was very smooth. The return boat from Comino to Cirkewwa (17/09/25 @ 12:15) was very special and the skipper incredible with a very uplifting mood. Many thanks to him.

I thought it was a typical tourist scam, but after talking with them, they gave us affordable tickets and brought us back at a good price.

Private boat tour, 2 hours for €200. We had a great time! Our skipper was friendly and the process was really easy. Booked and paid deposit online, then rest in cash afterwards. We went to both the crystal lagoon and blue lagoon on comino for a swim, and then around the other side to see elephant rock and some caves. They had snorkels to borrow and an ice box. Thanks guys!

I had no bad experience with them - you can buy the tickets online or show them the online price and you can buy directly there with cash. The trip takes 15 minutes, and if you wanna see the caves on the way back, it's €13 for the round trip. They tell you in advance the return times, the ones in the early afternoon are taking the extra 5 minutes to the caves (I think it doesn't worth it). Nevertheless, if you just wanna go to see Comino, this service would be fine:)
